Local tools

Voice dictation runs on your device with downloaded speech models. Microphone audio is not sent by the local dictation feature to the managed cloud writing service. Saved text shortcuts and undo work locally. Automatic spelling and phrase completion are included with Plus and Pro and run locally. They do not send ongoing typing to the managed cloud writing service.

Cloud writing is an explicit action

When you run an AI transformation, custom command, test or prompt build, the selected text or captured writing field, your instructions and relevant writing preferences are sent through DeshDraft’s gateway to the approved AI provider. Only run cloud actions on text you want to send. Groq processes approved cloud requests; Cloudflare Workers AI may be used only when its route is approved and enabled. No private typing is collected for model training by DeshDraft. Inference providers follow their own retention policies and may keep requests temporarily for reliability or abuse checks. DeshDraft’s five-minute recovery-cache limit does not limit a provider’s retention. See the linked provider notices.

The gateway keeps result content only in a short-lived encrypted retry cache for up to five minutes. Scheduled cleanup removes expired results. Request identifiers, credit usage, status and provider-capacity counters are retained for accounting and reliability; writing is not included in these records. Infrastructure and identity providers also process information under their own policies.

Accounts and devices

Auth0 handles hosted sign-in. The service validates identity tokens and stores your account identifier, registered random device identifiers, last-seen times and credit records. The desktop protects saved account credentials using Windows CurrentUser encryption. Website access tokens remain in page memory; pending sign-in verification is held temporarily in session storage. A random browser identifier is stored locally. Reloading the page requires sign-in again.

History and clipboard

History starts off. If you enable it, originals and results may remain in local history until you clear them. Some capture and insertion paths temporarily use the clipboard with restoration enabled by default. Editors and clipboard managers can maintain their own records.

This website

The writing demo uses fixed, labelled examples. No customer writing is sent to AI by the demo. Copying a demo result changes the clipboard only when you click Copy. DeshDraft does not load advertising or analytics scripts. The demo film loads a YouTube privacy-enhanced player only when you choose Watch short film. YouTube then receives connection and playback information and may show ads under its own policies. You can also watch directly on YouTube. See Google’s privacy policy.

Your choices and deletion

Sign out to remove the website’s in-memory token, manage registered devices from your account, and clear local app history in Settings. To request deletion of DeshDraft service records, contact manvadariya2@gmail.com from your account email. Service deletion and removal of a hosted identity are separate operations; support will explain their scope. Do not include sensitive writing in your request.

Optional Google Gemini fallback

This starts off. Adults can enable it in their account after reading the disclosure. If the main provider has no capacity, enabled accounts may send the same selected writing, instructions and preferences to Google’s free Gemini API. Google may use inputs and outputs to improve its products, and human reviewers may read them. Do not use this route for sensitive, confidential or personal information. Revoking the choice stops new fallback requests; it cannot recall data already sent. This does not change the 15-credit daily allowance. Read Google’s Gemini API data terms.

Payments and subscriptions

Razorpay hosts checkout and processes payment details. DeshDraft stores account-linked subscription, invoice and payment identifiers, amounts, payment status, credit grants and signed access entitlements. Card numbers, bank credentials and payment OTPs are not collected in the app. Your writing is not sent to Razorpay. Payment records may need to be retained for accounting, refunds and dispute handling.
